YOGA@WORK is a side of Yoga where we bring the amazing benefits Yoga has to offer into the workplace.  These specially designed sessions are targeted to de-stress, relax and unwind mental fatigue, charge the body with vigor and vitality, enhance memory, sharpen focus and increase concentration in the workplace.

They may be held in the morning, before work, at lunch time, in the early evening or after work, at the company’s request. Included in the session are physical exercises, as well as breathing and relaxation techniques.

In large corporations such as Apple, IBM, Google, Nike, Forbes as well as smaller establishments such as law offices, medical clinics, employers are now finding common problems in employee overall performance that are affecting the bottom line profits such as high rates of absenteeism, increase in health care costs, decrease in work performance, high stress levels leading to greater turnover which leads to costs in retraining.

Companies that invest time and resources in a company-based wellness culture can expect major returns on investment. Upbeat, energetic employees result in a healthy and relaxed environment with less absenteeism. Happier, healthier, focused and alert working staff will bring higher productivity.

YOGA@WORK offers Corporate Yoga Services across Cape Town and the Cape Region. Services are flexible and designed as per required of different Industries to fit their need. Clients we are currently working with are The Two Ocean’s Aquarium and the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town, South Africa.

A 4 week session is recommended at first to begin. Once you see the results and get feedback from the employees we can determine if a 4-week, 8-week or continual ongoing sessions best suit your needs.

Payment Options:

◊Full subsidy: Employer offers the classes free of charge to the employee.

◊Partial Subsidy: Class fee is shared by employee and employer.

◊Individual pay: Employees individually pay for classes.

Yoga can be done in office clothes and the session can be arranged in any part of the day. Session’s length can vary from 20 to 60 minutes. Sessions can be conducted on a daily, weekly or monthly bases. We recommend at least once a week. The sessions are best conducted if your company will provide a quiet space, a conference or meeting room as long as tables and chairs can be pushed aside for class. We can customize your wellness or any other event you need. Our classes are targeted to de-stress, relax and unwind mental fatigue. We’ll stretch your body and improve your strength and balance.

Session’s focus and strength can be modified upon your needs. Included in the session are physical exercises, as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. Sessions are designed free of any barriers of age, sex and body type. Participants with physical complications are advised to seek medical help before starting Yoga.
